Design studio by the sea

The Romi Bohnenberg design studio has focused on product development (draft, conception and design) of tableware and interior design. Since 2018, the studio has been located in the north of Germany on a peninsula by the sea surrounded by untouched nature.


Innovation and exciting material combinations

Glass and ceramics are recurring materials in Romi's designs. The development of innovative, trend-oriented products is her main concern. Aesthetics and function in combination with high-quality materials form the core of her work.


Design & conception

With concrete knowledge of manufacturing methods and industry knowledge, she develops sales-oriented holistic concepts (idea, design, packaging, marketing concept) that are specifically tailored to her customers. Consulting, packaging concepts, trade fair and shop planning complement the designs for collections and unique items.

A holistic approach is extremely important to me, being there from the beginning until the product is sold. Creating a mood and a feel. Filling a minimalist design with emotions.

    I inspire and guide the vision of the brand and team.

    I oversee the work of illustrators, graphic/visual designers, photographers, and others who are engaged in the artwork or the layout design for the brand. 

    I develop briefings for Photographers, stylists and designers. 

    I oversee and manage the visual aspects of projects in design development and cataloge shootings.
